Every month, BASE CAMP LANSING gathers men together for beer, brotherhood, and Story Hour. Our guest storytellers share personal accounts of adventure, pain, and their unique encounter with grace.

Hundreds of men have experienced Base Camp at Founders Brewery in Grand Rapids since our first monthly gathering in March 2017. Now, Sanctuary Spirits of Grand Ledge, Michigan has opened its doors to the first ever Base Camp Lansing.

“Real men, great beer, amazing stories. Base camp is a breath of fresh air at a time when masculine values are under assault.”

Dave McIntyre

“It’s the most unlikely place to see men gather in droves searching for life’s answers, or in need of hope; it’s a place of stories, tragedy, and redemption.”

John Collier

“Through the stories of other men at Base Camp, we can better interpret our own stories and get a better glimpse of what God might be up to in our lives.”

Matt Hall

“A place just for men who are answering the call of the wild that has existed inside of their chest since their earliest memory. The call to healthy friendship and brotherhood.”

Daniel Boon

“Basecamp is a transcendent space–a “thin space” as the Celts called it–where men tap into the source of authentic masculinity through story, fellowship, and space.”

Jeffrey Duba

“BASE CAMP is an awesome experience! Being able to sit down and listen to the stories of other men’s striving and strife is a wonderful way to explore how others have overcome adversity.”
